First-time Umrah: a complete checklist for Pakistanis

Performing Umrah for the first time is a deeply emotional experience, and a little preparation goes a long way. Here is a practical, Pakistan-focused checklist to help you and your family travel with peace of mind.

Documents you'll need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • CNIC (and child B-Form for minors)
  • Passport-size photographs with white background
  • Vaccination certificate as required by Saudi authorities

Choosing the right package

Umrah packages mainly differ by hotel distance from the Haram, flight comfort and meals. If it's your first visit and you're travelling with elders, staying closer to the Haram (our Gold or Platinum tiers) makes the daily walk far easier.

What to pack

  • Ihram (men) and modest, comfortable clothing
  • Comfortable walking sandals
  • Unscented toiletries
  • A small bag for shoes at the Haram
  • Any regular medication with prescriptions

Tips for a smooth journey

Learn the Umrah steps before you travel, stay hydrated, keep your hotel card with you, and agree a meeting point with your group in case anyone gets separated.
